The latest features in your new Web of Science
Introducing Web of Science™ Author Impact Beamplots: a new way to understand the citation impact of an author’s research.

Now available on every Web of Science Author Record, Author Impact Beamplots are graphical representations of the citation performance of an author's publications. Beamplots use normalized citation percentiles as a means of comparing the citation performance of publications.

Unlike single point metrics, Author Impact Beamplots help you:
  • understand the narrative behind citation performance
  • see performance change over time
  • make more informed decisions about research impact and evaluation

Also new in February
  • Inspec now available in the new Web of Science
Inspec, the indexing database of scientific and technical literature, published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, has now been migrated to the new Web of Science and is available for feedback by subscribers.
  • Export to RIS bibliographic format
As part of our continuous effort to provide useful export features, we are adding RIS export to the Web of Science Core Collection™. This format is supported by many bibliographic management tools.

Best wishes,
